Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the USA and South Georgia native, worked with Erik and Karin Vonk who donated a Richland Rum barrel to be bottled and sold at auction with proceeds benefiting The Carter Center philanthropic organization.
The Richland Rum Presidential Reserve (empty) Barrel is currently residing in California and gathered a significant contribution during a fundraiser for The Carter Center.
Over the years and around the world, bottles of Richland Rum Presidential Reserve have been auctioned off and have raised significant funds for The Center.
Bottled as an ode of appreciation and recognition for the local, Buena Vista, GA folk artist known as St. EOM.
St. EOM was a true free spirit who inspired many, and his work is preserved at the nearby Pasaquan Exhibit, about 30 minutes from the Richland Distillery. The St. EOM’s Pasaquan Odyssey Expression is available for purchase online and at the distilleries in Richland and Brunswick. SOLD OUT
